I hate life's horrible timing.
I always feel like I'm a day late, a dollar short and cursed to living in couldve, wouldve, shouldve's.
Truth is all my possessions I somehow lost 'em.

I must learn to love the fool in me--the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries. It alone protects me against that utterly self-controlled, masterful tyrant whom I also harbor and who would rob me of human aliveness, humility, and dignity but for my fool.

when your skin is shed find a pile of your head now then, I'll look so smart

Human kind cannot bear much reality. Time past and time future What might have been and what has been Point to one end, which is always present. Time past and time future Allow but a little consciousness. To be conscious is not to be in time But only in time can the moment in the rose-garden Be remembered; involved with past and future. Only through time time is conquered.

I am alive, and moving back home in about 2 weeks.
Minutes turned to hours and became our dates when we shared raindrops that turned into lakes bodies started merging and the lines got grey now I'm looking at her thinking, maybe she's okay

when you've suffered a great deal in life, each additional pain is both unbearable and trifling.

Big Brother isn't watching. He's singing and dancing. He's pulling rabbits out of a hat. Big Brother is busy holding your attention every moment you're awake. He's making sure you're always distracted. He's making sure you're fully absorbed. He's making sure your imagination withers until it's as useful as your appendix. He's making sure your attention is always filled.
And this being fed is worse than being watched. With the world always filling you, no one has to worry about what's in your mind. With everyone's imagination atrophied, no one will ever be a threat to the world.

No matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention.
Well get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day.

when I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. then when I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” they told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life.

What we do in secret makes our public life more bearable. We make our own rituals and traditions because it keeps the world separate from the things that mean the most to us. We are separate and therefore safe.
